How did you discover your love for screen printing/embroidery and creating?
I’ve always loved to create! My whole life I’ve worked in a family business of embroidery and screen printing and as I got older I learned to take advantage of my resources I had right in my house!!
How long did it take you to feel confident in your skills?
I still get nervous sometimes🤦🏼♀️☺️
Describe the process of creating a piece. Do you sketch out and plan designs or let them develop as you go?
I sketch out a bunch of ideas and brainstorm I take a couple of my favorite and try em out!
Do you ever have creative blocks? What do you do to work through them?
Creative blocks THEE WORST!! Haha I hate it! When I get it I like to be alone and I like to write/draw everything I’m thinking even if I know it’s terrible. I listen to music poetry the rain sometimes nothing, whatever will get my mind thinking until I make some thing that’s makes me feel happy :)
What is the biggest inspiration behind your artwork?
I was inspired to get into artwork because of my older sisters! Other than that, I like to daydream designs.
What is your favorite/most prized piece?
My sketches and thoughts paintings and ideas, the beginning of everything!
What is the most important piece of advice you have for creatives trying to build their brand?
What you love is what matters most create what you like not what others like!
What goal would you like your business to achieve this year?
I want to create more and more til there’s something for everyone to enjoy! ❤️
