What inspired this collection?
I wanted to create a collection that was a reflection of me so I tried to focus on creating pieces and using colors that exude feelings of warmth, happiness, and bring sunshine into life!
Tell us about yourself! What do you do outside of Gem Studio?
I work a second job, at Apple. I love camping, hiking, backpacking, and rock climbing. I spend a lot of time with my fur babies and am usually searching out the best-hidden gem restaurants in Utah. Food is literally my love language and so when I cook I’m sharing my love for that person! My fav restaurant is Eva’s bakery in SLC! Their bread is to die for and the mochas and stuffed French toast! OMG!
What else are you passionate about?
I'm passionate about food, creating, the outdoors and service. I love the outdoors because it’s where I most feel at peace and my true self I’ll never forget the first backpacking trip my dad took me on in Stanley Idaho it was life-changing! It made me appreciate and have a higher level of respect for nature than I did and has helped me grow into the mtn loving woman I am today!
I also love volunteering and giving back to my community. Some of my favorite places to volunteer are the Ronald McDonald House, the animal shelter and anywhere I can use my autism therapy license!
What’s currently playing on your Spotify?
My fav song of all time is Strawberries by Caamp, I remember the first time I heard it, it was a spiritual experience.
What do you want to manifest in your life come 2020?
For 2020 I hope for good health, a money mindset, and self-healing!
