This gem is called Buffalo Turquoise. Buffalo Turquoise is not actually Turquoise at all! But is often referred to as Turquoise because of its discovery in the Dry Creek Turquoise mine on the Shoshone Indian Reservation in Nevada. This is the only deposit known in existence! Making quantities very limited and this stone rare and valuable. Native Americans named this gem White Buffalo Turquoise, believing it to be as rare as the Sacred White Buffalo.
The best known Buffalo Turquoise metaphysical properties are tranquility, awareness, releases stuck energies, helps connect to spirit.
