Tell us about yourself! What do you do outside of Gem Studio?
When I’m not at Gem I’m usually going thrifting, boating, or sleeping haha! I am happiest when I’m in the sun with some good company. I also love hanging out with my friends and family!!
What inspired this collection?
I’ve always loved sunsets and think they are the prettiest thing ever! I mostly work the evening shift at Gem and when I drive home there’s usually a pretty sunset, and that kinda inspired me to do this collection! Utah has THE BEST sunsets.
What are you most passionate about?
I’m super passionate about experiencing new things and through that I’ve learned that I can do a lot more than I think! I think everyone should realize that about themselves too, cause we often don’t realize how much potential we all have.
What is currently playing on your Spotify/Apple Music?
Happier than ever by Billie Eilish is my #1 played song right now, listen to it!!! I also love Mac Miller, The 1975, and Taylor Swift as always. Reputation is the best album no debate:)
What do you want to manifest in your life over the next year?
I want to manifest finding a really cool career path that I love, traveling a lot, and just being the best I can be!!
What is your favorite gem, and why?
This answer changes all the time, but right now my favorite gem is Maligano Jasper! It is such a cool gem and has so many aspects to it which I love. It’s also a pretty yellow color and my favorite color is yellow! I have a dope ring in my collection with Maligano Jasper so check it out;)
What is your favorite part of your job?
This is so hard to answer because I honestly love everything about my job, but more than anything I love the people! My coworkers that have turned into friends that I hang out with all the time as well as the customers that come in to make stuff have really changed my life. I have met so many incredible people working here, and I learn something from every single customer that I teach!! I love it.
What is your favorite gem studio memory?
I had these 2 girls that I taught once and we were laughing so hard about riverdale the whole time (iykyk) that I forgot we were even in a workshop hahah. They still walked out with beautiful rings but they were so funny and I still follow them on Instagram:) that or watching maybel fall off her chair in front of an entire workshop.
