How did you discover your love for resin work and creating?

Honestly Youtube gives me all sorts of crazy ideas. My senior year in high school I some how convinces my parents to let my best friend and i paint the kitchen counters in their new home! That's were it all began.

How long did it take you to feel confident in your skills?

A pretty long time! I've been working with resin for almost 3 years.

Describe the process of creating a piece. Do you sketch out and plan designs or let them develop as you go?

In my resin art work I typically choose a color scheme or even just grab a handful of random colors and then see what comes from those!

Do you ever have creative blocks? What do you do to work through them?

Always. Switching things up and trying something completely new and wacky (that usually dosent work out at all lol) always gives me a new prospective. I also rock climb or go for a run or hike often to just take a break and let my brain reboot.

What is the biggest inspiration behind your artwork?

Mostly my mood. You can see what's going on inside through the colors in my painting. The rings I made for this collection were inspired by all the hobbies I have that destroy normal jewlery. Climbing, ceramics, resining silversmithing even.

What is your favorite/most prized piece?

The resign marble styled countertop I did for my parent's kitchen!
