What inspired this collection?
My name inspired this collection! Araya, A-Ray-of sunshine. The stones that I picked for my collection are some of my favorite stones here at the Gem Studio.
Tell us about yourself! What do you do outside of Gem Studio?
Outside of gem I love to go on walks, hang out with friends and church family, I love anything to do with art!
What is currently playing on your Spotify?
I don’t have Spotify but my favorite song at the moment is “Hello My Old Heart” by The Oh Hellos
What is your favorite thing about Utah?
My favorite thing about Utah is the mountains. I could stare at them for hours! Along withTaking mountain drives.

What is your favorite gem, and why?
My favorite Gem changes often haha but my favorite gem at the moment is Fossilized coral. I love the colors of it and how cool it looks as a piece of Jewelry.
What is your favorite part of the silversmithing process?
My favorite part of the silversmithing process is probably setting the stones or polishing because it starts to reveal the finishing product and that makes me happy. I also love when You start to see the excitement in our customers' faces to see their ring all done.
What's your favorite gem studio memory?
My favorite memory is our 2022 Gem Christmas party! Loved being with all my coworkers having a fun night!
