An Interview with Natalie White

It’s no question that Natalie White is an inspiration! Beautiful photography, thoughtful and vulnerabile captions, this gal is an inspiration! She is a gem who has been into the studio several times and so we thought we’d share with you more about her!

Why do you love the Gem Studio?

Because it’s a safe, fun, vibrant, beautiful space for people to come, connect & create. Art & people together always makes for a magical combination.

What is your favorite stone?

I am a huge fan of blue stones & I’ve been absolutely in love with the Larimar stone ever since I traveled to the Dominican Republic. (that is the only place the stone can be found) I think the story behind the stone is so magical & the color (& variety) of the stone is stunning.

What does jewelry mean to you?

Jewelry is an expression of the soul to me. What you wear on your wrists, on your hands, ears, around your neck etc. is a statement about who you are as a person. The colors, metals, stones, & all the other little details really say so much about the inner workings of people as human beings.

What is one thing you are passionate about?

ART. In any form. I think an expression of the soul in any form is one of the most beautiful gifts we have on this earth.

What is your favorite place that you have traveled to?

I feel the most inspired when I am surrounded by mountains & tall trees! Anywhere in Banff National Park & anywhere in the Umpqua National Forest. Those two places in particular hold a special sort of magic to me.

What is currently playing on your Spotify?

Chasing Gold by Dustin Tebbutt :)

What do you want to manifest in your life in 2020?

More self-love. More creating purely just to create. More adventure. More of the things that bring meaning to my life.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

Mother Earth is my inspiration for everything I am. I feel so blessed to be so inspired daily by so many people in my life! There are so many souls around me that I look to for guidance on all things.

What would you say are the most important things in your life?

God, the Earth, friends, family, art, music.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Doing what I love surrounded by people I love :)

Thank you Natalie for always sharing your love for Gem Studio! You can follow her adventures on instagram @natsterwhite
